1. Acceptance of Terms
These Terms of Service are an agreement between you and CCMRV Pty Ltd (ABN 34 694 747 567), trading as Venture Guard Global ("we", "us", "our"). By accessing or using the Venture Guard Global website (ventureguardglobal.com.au), the Business Readiness Assessment, Pathfinder, or any of our other services, you agree to be bound by these Terms and by our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use our services.
2. About Our Services
Venture Guard Global provides:
- Online business risk and readiness assessment questionnaires and reports;
- A career and business discovery tool (Pathfinder);
- Downloadable business document templates; and
- General business readiness information and guidance.
Our services are intended for informational and educational purposes only. They do not constitute legal, financial, accounting, taxation, or other professional advice.
3. Not Professional Advice
The assessment reports, templates, and all content provided by Venture Guard Global are general in nature and do not take account of your specific objectives, financial situation or needs. They are not a substitute for advice from a qualified legal, financial, accounting or business professional. You should obtain your own independent professional advice before making any significant business or financial decision.
To the extent permitted by law, we accept no liability for decisions you make based on our reports, templates, or other content.
4. AI-Generated Content
Our assessment reports and chat responses are generated, in whole or in part, using automated artificial-intelligence (AI) systems. You acknowledge and agree that:
- AI-generated content may contain errors, omissions, or inaccuracies, and may not reflect the most current information;
- The content is generated from the information you provide — inaccurate or incomplete answers will affect the output;
- We do not warrant that any report, score, or recommendation is accurate, complete, or suitable for your particular circumstances; and
- You are responsible for independently verifying any information before relying on it.
You should treat AI-generated reports as a starting point for your own research and professional advice, not as a definitive assessment.
5. No Guarantee of Outcomes
Business and career outcomes depend on many factors outside our control. We do not guarantee any particular result, level of business success, income, or readiness outcome arising from your use of our services.
6. Purchases and Payments
All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable. Payment is processed securely via Stripe. By completing a purchase, you agree that:
- Because our products are digital and delivered or made available immediately, you will not be entitled to a refund simply because you have changed your mind, except where required by the Australian Consumer Law (see section 7).
- You are purchasing a single-user licence for your own personal or business use.
- You may not resell, redistribute, or sub-licence any content purchased from us.
7. Australian Consumer Law
Our services come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law. Among other things, services must be provided with due care and skill, and goods and services must be reasonably fit for purpose and of acceptable quality. If we fail to meet a consumer guarantee, you may be entitled to a remedy, such as a refund. Nothing in these Terms excludes, restricts or modifies any right or remedy you have under the Australian Consumer Law.
8. Intellectual Property
All content on this website and within our tools — including text, templates, reports, graphics, logos, and software — is the intellectual property of Venture Guard Global or its licensors, and is protected by Australian and international copyright law. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our prior written permission, except for your own internal business use of purchased templates and reports.
9. Acceptable Use
When using our services you agree that you will:
- Provide accurate information in the assessment questionnaires;
- Use our services only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms;
- Not use our services to harass, defame, or harm others, or to upload unlawful, offensive or infringing material;
- Not submit another person's personal information without their authority;
- Not attempt to gain unauthorised access to, interfere with, disrupt, probe, or overload our systems or networks;
- Not use any automated means (such as scraping, bots, or harvesting tools) to access, copy or collect content or data from our services without our written permission;
- Not attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or extract the underlying logic, prompts, or scoring of our tools; and
- Not resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit our reports or templates.
We may suspend or terminate access for any user who breaches these Terms or misuses our services.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, and subject to your rights under the Australian Consumer Law, Venture Guard Global's total liability to you for any claim arising from your use of our services is limited to the amount you paid (if any) for the specific product or service that gave rise to the claim.
We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential loss or damage, including loss of profit or business opportunity, arising from your use of our services.
11. Third-Party Services
Our services rely on third-party providers (such as payment, hosting, email and AI providers). We are not responsible for the acts, omissions, or availability of those third parties, though we choose them with reasonable care. Their handling of personal information is described in our Privacy Policy.
12. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia. You and we submit to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of New South Wales and the courts that may hear appeals from them.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be available on this page with a revised "Last updated" date. Your continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
